Northeast Georgia Health System
Tanisha N. Mills serves as a medical librarian for the Northeast Georgia Health System. She supports evidence-based practice and research activity across the spectrum of hospital-based specialties and a growing graduate medical education (GME) program. Her professional interests led to participation in the 2019–20 Medical Library Association (MLA) Research Training Institute and a preliminary investigation into the research capacity of hospital librarians serving GME programs. She has served in the Hospital Library Caucus and African-American Medical Librarians Alliance of MLA and is a current member of the Southern Chapter of MLA. Tanisha earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Emory University and a Master of Library and Information Science degree, with a medical concentration, from the University of Pittsburgh.
