August 2, 2018

Did you know that three NEJM articles — including up to two original research articles — are translated into the Chinese language each week by physician-editors in China? NEJM Yi Xue Qian Yan is accessible by individuals after registering here. Readers who have a subscription to NEJM or access it through an institutional license can click on a link at the top right of select articles on NEJM.org to bring them to the Chinese translation. Additionally, the NEJM weekly table of contents is translated into Chinese and available on nejmqianyan.cn and through iOS and Android mobile apps.
The three NEJM articles chosen each week for translation focus on the areas of medicine that are of most concern in China: cancer, stroke, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, pulmonary disease, pediatrics, and maternal health. NEJM Yi Xue Qian Yan also translates articles from the 12 NEJM Journal Watch editions — specialty-specific literature reviews with added physician commentary.
Spread the word about NEJM Yi Xue Qian Yan, which makes trusted medical information from NEJM Group more accessible to native Chinese speakers.
